As Granada is a university city, with over 70.000 students, many families rent rooms to students. We avoid placing our students with these families as there tends to be less personal contact – which we consider to be one of the most important aspects of lodging with a Spanish family.
We ensure that any other students lodging with the same family are of a different nationality and that the accommodation is less than a 15 minute walk from the school. Our accommodations are basic, but clean and fully equipped. Just like the average Spanish middle-class-family.

In a shared apartment, you will be living with Spanish or other language school students sharing common areas of the apartment such as the dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. You will have a single room at your disposal, a key to the house and are free to live your daily life as you please, taking into consideration the house rules of course.
Bed sheets are available, but you should bring your own towels. Reservations for double rooms can only be made for students booking together.

For those students who wish to immerse themselves totally and experience the Spanish culture and the famous Mediterranean diet, we recommend living with a Spanish family. You will be totally independent, having your own room and keys to go in and out at your discretion. However, it must be understood that each student must adhere to the rules and customs of their Spanish family. Please bear in mind that a family might not always be the typical family. We say ‘family’, but it can also consist of a divorced woman (with or without children) for example.
The host family option with half board includes breakfast and dinner while the full-board option includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bed sheets are available, but you should bring your own towels. Reservations for double rooms can only be made for students booking together.
